The Longevity Herb in Your Tea and Coffee

I remember as a teenager reading the book ‘She’ by H. Rider Haggard.  The major character in the book was the mysterious Queen Ayesha; the beautiful 2,000 year- old ruler of the Lost World of Kor. After reading the book, the thought of living forever sounded really frightening!  It’s not my intention to frighten you this weekend, but to let you know that instead of thinking of walking into the ‘Fire of Life’ as attempted by Queen Ayesha (so she could live forever), we can thankfully live long healthy lives with self discipline and a bit of help from Nature.

The help comes from my Herb for the week - Ganoderma. It’s also known as Reishi, Lingzhi, or to the Vietnamese as Linh chi (literally meaning “supernatural mushroom"), but popularly known as the ‘King of Herbs’!  Ganoderma is a hard mushroom discovered over 2,000 years ago and used in traditional Chinese medicine to help promote good health and longevity.Amongst its numerous health benefits, studies have shown that Ganoderma also helps to:

·         protect against disease AND slow down the ageing process (yippee!!) due to increased levels of antioxidants
·         reduce cholesterol levels
·         ease allergy-related inflammation of the airways
·         strengthen the immune system by significantly increasing T-cells

For thousands of years, the Emperors took this mushroom for longevity. It was popularly known as “The Elixir of Youth” or “The Immortality Herb”!

In a United States Patented invention (US Patent No. 7060286 B2 June 13 2006) it was shown that Ganoderma helps protects against the degeneration of skin cells. The related studies showed that Ganoderma helped to smoothen the skin, reduce wrinkles and also had age defying properties.

Today, I’m the bearer of good news for coffee drinkers (and tea drinkers too)! Some really smart people have found an ingenious way of infusing Ganoderma into Coffee and Green Tea.  This is a pleasant and easy way to enjoy the benefits Ganoderma without having to worry about the not so pleasant taste of the mushroom!

So before you have another cup of Coffee or Green Tea,  go to this link  http://richercoffee.organogold.com/r/UK/ and try some that has been infused with Ganoderma and see the difference  for yourself!

And don’t just take my word for it, do some research and you’ll find out that Ganoderma truly is the King of Herbs!

Enjoy your cuppa and have a restful weekend!

Restore, Replenish and Renew Your Skin

For a few months now, our team of skincare experts have been busy researching and formulating the recipe for a skin restorative cleansing bar for our readers and I am happy to say ‘Eureka’, we have finally cracked it!

By ‘restoring’ I mean bringing things back to how they were before any incidences to our skin such as acne, large pores, pimples, dark circles under the eyes, dark spots, blemishes, wrinkles, dead skin cells, yes all that and more. Once again, Nature has not failed us. In some of our trials we have seen amazing results in as little as 2weeks.

Our Chamomile & Peppermint Skin Restoring Cleansing Bar is packed full with active ingredients such as Chamomile, Peppermint, Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Unrefined Castor Oil and Lemon juice.

For centuries, the Chamomile flower has been used as a relaxing aid.  Chamomile is anti-inflammatory and helps soothe eczema, rashes and acne. It also helps with minor burns and sunburn.

Peppermint is also well known for its soothing properties. It’s a good cleanser and skin soother. It is anti-inflammatory and a good treatment for acne and freckles (I think freckles are cute though!).

Castor Oil can be found in a lot of anti-ageing creams. It’s a good treatment for spots, blemishes and acne and it also keeps the skin youthful and wrinkle free.
Shea butter has skin healing and protecting properties amongst its many benefits. Olive oil also known as ‘the beauty oil’ cleanses and conditions the skin. Lemon Juice is rich in vitamin C and is also a natural skin lightener.

For the next 7 days, we will send out 7 free samples of the Chamomile & Peppermint Skin Restoring Cleansing Bar to the first 7 readers to 'Like' Naytures Place on Facebook Once you’ve done this, send us an email at info@nayturesplace.com with your contact details and we will send out your free sample. Please note that we do not share your contact details with anyone and they are deleted from our system after this offer.

The Power of Hemp Seed Oil

For years, Hemp Seed Oil has been treated as some sort of villain considering its source. I consistently maintain that every herb, seed or plant is an answer to a problem, even if it’s a problem yet unknown.

In my studies and research in herbal and natural remedies, I have found that the ‘not knowing’ what is out there available for us is a bigger problem than all the issues life throws at us. This weekend, I’m not giving any recipes but rather I want to draw your attention to the power of Hemp Seed Oil.

Studies have shown that Hemp Seed Oil contains all the essential amino acids and fatty acids necessary for human life. It also has a rare protein- Globule Edestin, which is similar to the globulin found in the human blood plasma. This protein was discovered in Hemp Seed as far back as 1881.

Hemp Seed Oil has is the richest single source of essential oil. Its amazing properties could help repair damaged immune systems.

A few other benefits of this oil when taken internally include, smoother skin, increased vitality, enhanced immune function, helps fight infections and allergies, helps in the formation of cell membrane, keeps the arteries supple amongst so much more!

Thankfully, we’ve got the internet, so you don’t have to rely solely on my words. This weekend, take some time out to research the wealth of health benefits in this oil. You will also find out why goodness of this oil this has been kept very quiet over the years.

A verse in the Bible says, ‘my people perish for lack of knowledge’. Let’s stop all the 'perishing' in its tracks and open our minds to what nature has available for us out there. Let’s put all the knowledge to good use so we can live longer healthier lives.

Have a lovely weekend.
